This optional filter prevents dust from accumulating on the optical elements inside the projector. Should the filter become clogged with dust particles, it will reduce cooling fans’ effectiveness and may result in internal heat buildup and adversely affect the life of the projector.

This easy-to-use cartridge system automatically rotates a new sheet of filter for up to 11,000 hours in typical conditions, before requiring replacement. There are 10 built-in changeable filter sheets within the cartridge.
