BARCELONA, Spain – (June 11, 2025) – Christie^® will showcase how its industry-leading cinema innovations elevate the moviegoing experience and enhance return on investment at CineEurope, June 16–19, CCIB Barcelona, #MR118 and #MR134. On display will be a demo of its patented VDR (Variable Dynamic Range), a software-based enabling technology for projectors, market-leading high-efficiency projectors, and advanced monitoring and management tools.

Better image, TCO and flexibility with VDR

VDR, a software-based enabling technology, will be previewed live at the show. It will demonstrate vivid visuals and deeper blacks while enhancing energy efficiency and offering a reduced total cost of ownership. Compatible with all Christie CineLife+™ Series Real|Laser™ projectors, VDR works across screen sizes with standard content, with no special mastering required. In standard mode at 14ft lamberts (48 nits), VDR can double the sequential contrast ratio, improving image quality while reducing laser power consumption and extending laser lifespan.

Projection performance and efficiency for screens of all sizes

Christie’s RGB pure laser projection line-up is the most extensive range of environmentally responsible projectors on the market, offering leading lumen-to-watt efficiency, low CO₂ emissions, washable filters, and hundreds of projector and lens combinations for high brightness, high contrast, and ultra-high contrast applications at different throw distances. On display will be the CP2415-RGB and CP4435-RGB models, featuring CineLife+ electronics and Real|Laser illumination for outstanding image quality, operational life, and cost efficiency. Also featured is the CP2406-RBe, delivering brilliant images with Phazer™ enhanced laser illumination and extended operational life for performance and affordability. In each projector is a Christie CineLife+™ IMB-S4, a feature rich media server with out-of-the-box 4K high frame rate playback, 3.6TB of usable onboard SSD storage with the ability to add more with an optional NAS-S4 storage solution, and industry-leading 5-year warranty.

Continued flawless performance with ChristieCare and Cinergy

Christie’s service team will be on hand to discuss ChristieCare, which includes extended warranty coverage, fast-tracked parts, 24/7 access to service experts, and remote monitoring with Cinergy, a cloud-based remote monitoring and management platform for both Christie and non-Christie equipment. Cinergyequips exhibitors and service providers with advanced tools to monitor system health and track assets in real-time, automate key delivery, and make data-driven decisions through detailed reporting. Attendees can also learn more about Cinergy’s Command Station application, which enables theatre managers to run booth operations and control equipment from any location within their venue.
