Christie reinforces cinema leadership at BIRTV

BEIJING – Christie^® is set to redefine the cinematic experience at the Beijing International Radio, TV and Film Exhibition (BIRTV), taking place from July 23–26 at the China International Exhibition Center. Attendees can explore cutting-edge cinema technologies designed to meet the needs of all screen types, ranging from premium large-format (PLF) theaters to mainstream auditoriums.

At booth 2A250, Christie will showcase its latest cinema projection innovations that enhance both audience experience and return of investment for Chinese exhibitors. These include the CineLife+™ Series projectors, featuring ultra-fast Series 4 processing electronics, and Variable Dynamic Range (VDR), a software-based enabling technology that delivers vivid visuals, deeper blacks, and enhanced energy efficiency, all while reducing total cost of ownership. Compatible with all Christie CineLife+ Series Real|Laser™ projectors, VDR works seamlessly across screen sizes using standard content, with no special mastering required.

There will be a live demo of the Christie CP2411-RBe, a 2K-resolution, 11,000-lumen projector powered by the CineLife+2K™ electronics platform. Purpose-built for boothless installations, the CP2411-RBe is ideal for boutique cinemas and small-screen venues, delivering outstanding image performance. With Christie’s Phazer™ illumination technology, the projector is 200–300% more energy efficient than comparable Xenon models, resulting in annual energy cost savings of up to 60–75%.

On static display are the Christie CP4455-RGB and CP4435-RGB pure laser projectors, designed for high-brightness, high-contrast, and ultra-high-contrast applications across a variety of throw distances. These models deliver industry-leading lumen-to-watt efficiency, low CO₂ emissions, washable filters, and support hundreds of projector and lens combinations. Both are equipped with high-speed CineLife+ electronics and Real|Laser illumination to ensure exceptional image quality, operational life, and cost efficiency.

Another featured model is the Christie CP2406-RBe, which combines brilliant image performance with Phazer illumination and extended operational life, making it a compelling solution for value-driven exhibitors. Completing the lineup is the CineLife+ IMB-S4 integrated media block, a feature-rich media server offering native 4K high frame rate playback, 3.6TB of onboard SSD storage (expandable via optional NAS-S4), and an industry-leading five-year warranty for long-term peace of mind.
